1. What Cleanup AI Collects
Cleanup AI is designed to minimize data collection. The app does not sell your personal information and does not upload your private media library content or Gmail message bodies to our own servers for cleanup features.
- Your photos and videos are processed locally on your device for media cleanup flows.
- Your Gmail access is optional and used only after you sign in and grant permission.
- Your Gmail message metadata may be read to show sender-based cleanup suggestions inside the app.
- Your selected Gmail messages are moved to trash only when you trigger that action.
2. Google Sign-In and Gmail Access
If you use Cleanup AI's email cleanup feature, you may choose to sign in with your Google account. The app requests Gmail access using the gmail.modify scope so it can help you review inbox items and move selected emails to trash.
Cleanup AI uses Gmail access only to support the in-app email cleanup experience, such as reading sender, subject, preview, category, age, and attachment-related metadata and carrying out user-approved trash actions.
Cleanup AI does not ask for permanent deletion without your action and does not use your Gmail access to send emails on your behalf.
3. Photo, Video, Contacts, and Device Permissions
Cleanup AI may request access only to the permissions needed for app features.
- Photo Library Access to review and organize your media.
- Contacts Access for contact organization and related utilities, if you choose to use those features.
- Notifications if enabled, for app reminders and local alerts.
- Biometric Access if you enable secure unlock features such as protected areas inside the app.
4. On-Device Analysis
Cleanup AI uses on-device processing to identify duplicate photos, similar images, screenshots, and other media categories whenever possible. This helps keep private library content on your device.
5. Analytics and Crash Reporting
Cleanup AI may use trusted service providers such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app stability, performance, and general feature usage patterns.
These tools help us improve the app, but they are not intended to access your private photo library content or full Gmail mailbox content for cleanup actions.
6. Local Storage
Cleanup AI may store app preferences, cached scan state, selection state, secure space settings, and other app data locally on your device to improve continuity and speed.
7. User-Controlled Actions
Cleanup AI does not automatically delete or share your photos, videos, contacts, or emails without your direct interaction. Gmail trash actions, media deletion, secure-space actions, and similar operations are triggered only after user review and confirmation.
8. Data Sharing
Cleanup AI does not sell your personal information. We do not use your Gmail content, media library content, or contacts data for advertising resale.
9. Children’s Privacy
Cleanup AI is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe information from a child has been provided to us inappropriately, please contact us.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect feature improvements, legal requirements, or changes to Cleanup AI. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
